Anna Nicole Smith - Did She Die a Bride-to-be?

By Rev. Laurie Sue Brockway

Rumor is that Anna Nicole Smith died a bride-to-be.

Some say that this weeks fatal trip to Florida was to be her last trip as a single gal and she and "partner" and "spiritual husband" Howard K. Stern were to tie the knot on February 23rd. Entertainment Tonight, which has been her personal publicity machine for some time, was reportedly offered the wedding exclusive. The wedding was said to be planned for the Bahamas.

It was widely reported that the two had a spiritual marriage ceremony on board a catamaran just off of famous Blackbeard's Cay in The Bahamas. That was 18 days after Anna Nicole's son's Daniel died.

Stern had come out and "fessed up" that he was the father of Anna Nicole's new baby, Dannilynn, on the Larry king Show and thus this was to be a spiritual joining of the family.

Althought there is no doubt they were close and seemed to live as a family unit, many people think Howard K. Stern and Anna Nicole Smith never had sex, let alone a baby. Many believe that Larry Birkhead is the Dad. Certainly Larry Birkhead believes it.

Anna Nicole's life read like a soap opera before her death. Now, with Baby Dannilynn rising to the center of what could be a the weirdest custody battle in history, you can best Hollywood writers and producers are already buzzing about "the movie."

At the moment, the baby is supposedly in the Bahamas with a trusted friend or employee of Anna Nicole's and Howard K. Stern's, or his mother and sister, according to some reports.

Larry Birkhead's lawyer is trying to get DNA from deceased Anna Nicole so that no one can "switch" babies for paternity testing.

Anna Nicole's estranged mother, a retired cop who has few nice things to say about her daughter, is in the Bahamas trying to find the baby to "protect her."

And just for the fun of it, ancient Zsa-Zsa Gabor's husband, Prince Frederick von Anhalt, says he's the baby daddy. Claims he had a long term affair with Anna Nicole, who dated/bedded him because she wanted to be a princess.

One would imagine as the reporters and cops populate the Bahamas and search for clues, we will find out more about the baby and the real story about who might have done what, with whom.

Meanwhile, Anna Nicole is gone. On a karmic level, perhaps she completed her work here. All she ever wanted was to be famous, and she certainly accomplished that! And wacky as she appeared to be on a fairly regular basis (before the birth of her baby and death of her son), she seemed to touch something in people, for better or for worse.

On a mystical and spiritual level, I think many people believe she had to leave to be with Daniel, a loss she could not bear, especially right after having a new baby. How horrible was that, to birth a new life and lose one you cherished so? Who could bear such a thing? Mothers around the world have cried and cringed at the thought of that loss, at the depth of it. I think it is true that some people die of a broken heart. It may not show up on an autopsy, but they lose the will to be here without the other.

Many people also believe Daniel left because the new baby was here, and he could go, knowing Anna Nicole would not be alone. He lived in such a different energy. Perhaps he could no longer deal with the glare and neo-glamour.

While the conspiracy theories and rumors buzz, a baby sleeps somewhere, with out her Mom.

Who knows who Dannilynn is meant to be or become. Or who will raise her. Let's all just agree that she is an innocent here, a new baby, perhaps the real million dollar baby, but a baby just the same.

For Dannilynn here on earth, and her mother and brother on the other side, I'd like to offer this Unity Prayer:

The light of God surrounds you,
The love of God enfolds you,
The power of God protects you,
And the presence of God watches over you.
Amen.
