Slam Dunk, Hip Hop Honeymoon in Vegas -- NBA Stars and Music Royalty Abound

If you are thinking of coming to Vegas to get hitched on Valentines day and you are a big NBA fan, try to book your room at the Aladdin / Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, now.
The resort and casino, which is still a bit of work in progress, will serve as the ultimate destination during NBA All-Star Weekend in Las Vegas. February 15 through 18 the joint will be jumping with events and NBA and hip hop royalty.
First, the 2007 All-Star Game schedule is fairly packed with events, including the All-Star Celebrity Game. Jam Session and Rookie Challenge. And performances by huge stars, such as Mary J. Blige. Then there is the big game on Sunday evening.

The Aladdin / Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is teeming up with Loose Cannon Entertainment to create a series of events around the games, hosted by music giants Nelly and Jermaine Dupri.
* The weekend-long party begins with a February 15, 8 pm concert. Bow Wow, Akon, Chingy, Lil Wayne, Ali+Gipp, St. Lunatics, Rich Boy, and The Clipse will perform and Nelly and Jermaine Dupri will host.
* On February 16 at 1 PM will be the Poker with the Stars Tournament. Later that evening, Nelly, Jermaine Dupri and Pharrell will host the Rat Pack Party. The party will begin at 9 PM and is supposed to last ALL night long in the Planet Hollywood Hotel Ballroom. There will also be a huge party there on February 17 at 9 pm.
* On February 18, Sederic the Entertainer will perform at the SoSo Derty Celebrity Comedy Brunch.
* The weekend will come to a grand finally with a Applebottoms & King Magazine Lingerie & Pajama Party, hosted again by Nelly, Jermaine Dupri and Melyssa Ford. This will be a chance to get a peek at some sexy new lingerie, perfect for the new bride!

Foot note: The original Alladin was the hotel that played host to Elvis Presley wedding back in the day, so there is an extra little piece of music and Las Vegas history. Of course, now all the rooms have Planet Hollywood-style displays of secured movie memorabilia, but the original Alladin wedding chapel still stands in the main lobby, there is a fabulous spa on premise and it is connected to a fabulous shopping mall!
