Trump, as we all now know, owns the Miss USA Pageant, which is a great way for aging millionaire to have a chance to hang around with beautiful girls. His pardon of Miss USA sparked a nasty name calling fest between Trump and Rosie O'Donnell, who each used their media platforms to swat at each other like kids in a sand box.

Media just kept feeding the beast by letting Trump ramble on about Rosie in every interview he did. And Rosie did not let his behavior slide on The View.

Trump won in the nastiness department, calling Rosie fat and disgusting, in so many words. Apparently a guy who needs to surround himself with beautiful gals to feel better about himself would be completely challenged by a plump, gay talk show host with a big mouth.

I want to say, Donald, you are not so bad, you don't need to make yourself look better with arm candy or by owning a harem of beauty queens or trashing people you deem unattractive. Don't be so freaked out by a female with little extra meat on the bones ... and a complete lack of sexual interest in you.

I've seen Trump in person. He is not as fat as he looks on TV and his comb-over is not quite as bad up front. The ties -- especially the pink -- are kind of nice. There's a certain "thing" about him. It is probably his millions, giving off a certain kind of pheromones. I personally would not make fun of him for the way he looks but I also would not consider him "hot." (Donald, the younger, his son, is kind of cute though.)

But his reaction, and attack on Rosie, has been despicable. Las Vegas is lucky that his hold here is not as strong it is in New York, where citizens have to put up with him and his huge buildings bearing his name on every other block. He's working his way in here but his name only shows up once on the strip.

Anyway, lets throw some peace out on this situation ... and hope it bops Donald on the mouth, so he can zip it.

If we discover this is just a ploy for ratings, many people will be severely annoyed. If he goes on the View in a month to hug Barbara Walters and make nice to Rosie, I for one will lose my breakfast.

Back to Katie Rees. Technically, it is not good form for a Miss Nevada to show her girls, and who knows what else, in photos on he Internet. Bob Hope, who used to host this pageant years ago when it was Miss World-USA, would turn over in his grave, if he could see all these break downs in protocol.

But Katie will be right at home with the showgirls and girls-who-show-themselves in Las Vegas. We also hear Playboy Magazine is looking to capitalize on her fall from grace and is negotiating to do a spread with her. Okay then, onward!

Does she have talent? Who knows. But here's to the next Vanessa Williams. As we all know, In Las Vegas, anything is possible!
