Wedding Wars star Eric Dane was married in Las Vegas
Wedding Goddess Wisdom
Wedding Wars premiered on A&E December 11 and you can still catch it in replays.
It stars John Stamos, James Brolin and Eric Dane, also known as Dr. Mark Sloane or Dr. McSteamy, on ABC's Grey's Anatomy.
It is a comedy that focuses a lens on the gay marriage controversy, through a story line evolving around the planning of a wedding between a very cute, high profile straight bride and groom.
Stamos plays Dane's gay brother, a wedding planner. Dane portrays a groom in a midst of planning his wedding. He also happens to be the campaign manager to the governor of Maine. His bride of course wants his gay brother to plan their wedding. It's about to happen when Stamos discovers his brother (Dane) is against gay marriage. Ut-oh.
From then, the family drama around wedding planning reaches an all time high. All gays in Maine go on strike and hence, hilarity ensues because Dane cannot find anyone to plan his wedding.
In real life, Eric Dane would never think of stressing over wedding planning!
He is a Las Vegas Wedding alumni and proud of it. He got hitched here in October 29, 2004 to wife Rebecca Gayheart. His marriage was so spontaneous, they had a Las Vegas cab driver fill in as best man.
Gayheart explained they were out to dinner one night and, before they knew it, they were on a plane to Vegas. In fact, she said he family was upset that they didn't get to partake.
Little did they know back then what a headache wedding planning can be!
