Big League Weekend and a Las Vegas wedding, a major hit

Las Vegas 51s ballfieldPlanning a wedding? Love major league baseball?

Arrange your wedding around Las Vegas' 16th annual Big League Weekend, March 30th-April 1st, and take in some of the best pre-season Major League Baseball exhibition action anywhere, and exchange your vows at a Las Vegas chapel. What could be better for lovers (of baseball.)

This year's Big League Weekend match-up features the Seattle Mariners versus the Los Angeles Dodgers, as well as the San Diego Padres versus the Chicago Cubs. It's a homecoming of sorts for Cubs pitcher Greg Maddux, a 1984 graduate of Las Vegas' Valley High School.

Of course, perhaps the best thing about attending Big League Weekend is the fact there's oh-so-much-more to Las Vegas than baseball. Fans will enjoy not only world-class games, but also 24-hour, world-class entertainment. The marriage license bureau is open 24/7 too. Name it and Las Vegas has it. With so many incredible choices, Las Vegas continues to live up to its name as being the "Entertainment and Wedding Capital of the World."
