Vegas wedding match made on PartyPoker.com

Jackie Johnson and Gary SuffirLas Vegas artist Jackie Johnson will wed New York attorney Gary Suffir on March 7 at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas. The couple met in September 2004 playing poker on PartyPoker.com.

The folks at PartyPoker.com, who claim to be the world's largest online poker room, are certainly enthused by the publicity opportunity, bidding it as the world's first marriage made in online hold'em.

They claim online poker is becoming the world's largest social network-where people compete, but also meet, share experiences and become friends

The Suffir-Johnson wedding will reportedly be poker themed with an online tournament for wedding guests a couple of weeks before the big day.

Their honeymoon, as announced by PartyPoker.com, begins March 12 on the PartyPoker.com Million V Cruise around the Cayman Islands and Jamaica with nearly 450 other poker players all competing for $5 million in prize money.

Let’s hope the newlywed couple has some time to themselves before embarking on an all-poker cruise.
