Speed courtship introduced by eHarmony.com

Rumor has it that eHarmony.com is introducing a new program based on their success rate and the concept of “speed dating”. They search their data base of candidates for the most compatible group and invite them to a speed courtship junket in Las Vegas. For four-and-a-half days and five nights the group looks for their perfect match over the sights, sounds, and nightlife of Las Vegas.

The first day kicks off at noon with the Match Barbeque. Enjoy your favorite brew and munch on those mesquite broiled burgers while you meander through the group looking for that perfect match.

That evening re-visit your match at the formal buffet where relationships can be fostered on the dance floor or crowding elbow to elbow over the delectable goodies in the buffet.

After the formal evening and maybe a naughty Las Vegas show (not included), retire to your rooms to find that they are clustered on contiguous floors for your convenience. (We know how intimidating it can be cavorting around the hotel in intimate apparel!)

And now, for the best part, three days and nights of Las Vegas fun to cement that relationship, find that special someone, or just do whatever floats your boat in this desert oasis.

Then on the last full or half-day, limos will sweep away blissful couples for the, expense included, marriage license at city hall and a stop at the wedding chapel of their choice. While the basic wedding service is included, special requests, like being married by Elvis or underwater at the “O” tank, must be arranged by the couple.

Naturally, the limo driver has all the connections. Your wish is their command. If you elect the 4th day marriage, you'll have the opportunity to upgrade to one of the honeymoon suites for a nominal fee, but remember checkout time is 9:00 a.m. the next morning.

Of course, if you opt for the last moment excursion, the honeymoon will be up to you, since after the service it will be time to head back to the airport.

Once you get back to McCarran airport, ticket agents will be on-hand to accommodate, as best as possible, your desires to visit your spouse’s home city.

There will also be taping facilities at the airport so blissful couples can inform others of how they found their match with Speed Courtship (prizes are given to those signing releases).

Unfortunately, it appears the first junket is about full-up.
