Super Heroes Wed at Little Chapel of Flowers
Superman and Wonder Woman, aka Phil Robinson and Louse Smith, were married by Elvis at the Little Chapel of the Flowers on Jan. 27, 2006.
The British couple, from Atherton, decided that since they had already done the fancy wedding thing, they just wanted to have fun with their second marriage vows.
Louise had dreamed of getting married dressed as Wonder Woman and Phil already had a Superman costume. They decided Vegas were the perfect place for two super heroes to be married.
Elvis serenaded the couple as they prepared to exchange vows and once the deed was done, they raced down the Strip in a black mustang convertible.
With three children between them, the new super hero blended family will have their work cut out for them.
This is a true international relationship, as they were engaged after Phil proposed in front of the Trevi fountain in Rome. And dressed as super heroes, what better place to get married than Vegas?
Despite the thousands of miles separating the dynamic duo from their hometown, family and friends were able to join them for the ceremony via Internet camera.
That just might be the way to go if you don’t want to fight with your mother or mother-in-law as you make wedding plans. Just fly to Vegas, then call them and let them know if they want to see you get married they’ll need to get on the Internet.
And just so they don’t feel too left out — and so they can bring gifts — Superman and Wonder Woman are planning a wedding reception in Atherton for family and friends.
