Getting a Vegas Marriage License

bride and groomLet’s say you’ve made up your mind and are ready to take the marriage plunge. And let’s say you and your future spouse are feeling lucky and have decided that a Las Vegas wedding is in your future. What next?

Thankfully, Las Vegas has been in the business of weddings for just a little while and they’ve made it pretty simple. The directions and an online application are on the Clark County, Nev. website.

If you can, print the online application and bring it with you, along with the other required materials, to the Marriage License Bureau.

In case you’re wondering where the Marriage License Bureau is located, it’s at 201 Clark Avenue, Las Vegas, Nevada 89155 (map). It’s just a couple blocks west of The Strip in downtown Las Vegas.

Your license will set you back $55 and we recommend you secure it at least one day prior to the wedding.

Although any wedding chapel in Vegas would love to wed you to eternal bliss, they can’t do it unless you have your marriage license. So, although you may not like it, you’ll just have to conform to the rules and get your license first.
